Ordering a custom collar online shouldn't feel like a gamble. If the size you ordered isn't quite right, we'll exchange it for the correct size.

To qualify for our Right Size Guarantee:

• Your exchange request must be made within 14 days of receiving your order.
• The collar must be returned in new, unused condition, complete with its original packaging.
• Customers are responsible for the cost of returning the original collar and shipping the replacement collar.
• Once we receive and inspect the returned collar, we'll handcraft your replacement in the correct size.

If you've received your custom collar and decide you'd rather create something different, we're happy to issue a store credit that can be used toward another Fusion By Design collar.

To qualify:

• Your request must be made within 14 days of receiving your order.
• The collar must be returned in new, unused condition, complete with its original packaging.
• Customers are responsible for return shipping.
• Your store credit will be issued for the purchase price, less the original shipping charges, shipping protection fee, applicable taxes, and a 5% restocking fee.

Our collars are crafted from a variety English bridle and specialty leathers.

Bridle leathers have been developed for use in horse tack. These leathers are both strong and durable and they are meant to withstand all weather conditions.

These are the reasons why we choose to use Bridle leathers as our stock collar and leash leathers. These reasons also mean that we encourage you to USE your collars and leashes.

We recommend investing in a good quality leather cleaner and conditioner. The two brands we recommend are Oakwood and Leather Honey.

TO CLEAN YOUR COLLAR:

1) Wet a soft cloth and wring it out thoroughly.

2) Wipe your collar down with the cloth. Gently rub the cloth up and down along the collar to remove any loose dirt or dust. Hold the collar with one hand, and rub the cloth up and down it with the other.

3) Use a damp sponge to apply your cleaner of choice. Do not soak the sponge in water! Using too much soap or putting too much lather on your leather will cause the leather to dry out.

4) Soap all the leather on both sides by gently rubbing the sponge up and down the collar.

5) If your collar appears dry or has gotten exposed to water on a regular basis, follow up the cleaning step with a light conditioning. NEVER CONDITION A DIRTY COLLAR OR LEASH!

Any hardware can be buffed with metal or brass polish pad. If your collar has black hardware, clean the hardware with a damp cloth. Be careful not to rub hard as this will remove the black enamel coating on the hardware.

If your dog decides to go swimming in their FBD collar, don’t panic! Simply lay the collar flat to dry then clean and condition per above.

Yes. The crystals are hand-set individually and have been worn through flyball, agility, dock diving, and everything in between. They're not glued on. In the unlikely event you have an issue, contact us directly. We offer a repair service for all FBD Collars.

Full-grain English bridle leather is built for hard use. It softens and develops character, referred to as patina, with wear. Condition it occasionally and it will outlast collars that cost the same and are made with half the care. Customers regularly come back for a second or third collar while the original is still going.

Reach out before you order and we'll help you choose the correct size. A quick message before you place your order is much easier than adjusting after the fact.

Both. The padded lining makes it comfortable for all-day wear, and the leather is durable enough to handle whatever your dog's day looks like. Most of our customers use the same collar for training, competing, and everything else.

You can request a colour proof with your order.  Simply choose the option when configuring your collar.  While the proof isn't a detailed layout of the collar design, it does show you how your colour selections come together and gives you the opportunity to change them prior to your collar proceeding to the build phase. If you have questions about a specific colour combination before you order, send us a message. We've built enough of these to give you an honest answer about what works.

Within 24 hours of placing your order, we may be able to accommodate some changes. Once that 24 hour order window has passed, we are unable to accept changes to your order since work will have begun on your order.

This collar is made to order. Standard production time is approximately four (4) weeks from the date your order is placed.

Need it sooner? The Skip The Line option moves your order to the front of the queue — production in approximately one (1) week. Simply add the upgrade to your order.
